"Get Well Soon" is a collaborative project that originated during a "Salle Blanche" residency at the Bern Music Festival 2025. It explores the societal management of crises, personal fears, and potential escapes from ingrained behavioral patterns. Crises typically follow the pattern of Crisis – Shock – Reaction, with reactions varying individually (e.g., flight, fight, or coming together). Cultural and socioeconomic factors play a crucial role in this—for instance, Switzerland boasts the world's highest density of civil protection facilities, making it appear particularly prepared. Our piece engages with these questions to highlight what unites us and to address topics that are all too often silenced. "Get Well Soon" is conceived as a spatial performance piece, blending elements of installation, performance, classical theater, and concert into an immersive experience.
